Top tennis player Anastasia Myskina filed a lawsuit in U.S. federal court on Friday against GQ Magazine and photographer Mark Seliger over two pictures that appeared in the July/August edition of Medved magazine in Russia.
The pictures were taken in 2002 as part of a feature for GQ. Only pictures of Myskina fully clothed were used in GQ. Myskina was topless in two of the four pictures that ran in the Russian magazine.
The suit claims that Seliger sold the pictures to Medved without Myskina's permission and that GQ failed to stop the sale. She is asking for up to $8 million US.
